Higher Ground Landscaping was founded in 1996 by Tony Barash while attending Michigan State University. What started as a one-man operation fueled by a genuine love for transforming outdoor spaces has grown into Oakland County's most trusted landscape contractor.

For nearly three decades, Tony and his team have been solving Michigan's toughest landscape challenges — from complex drainage problems that other contractors won't touch, to creating stunning outdoor living spaces that extend the joy of homeownership.
