 French Drains

A French Drain is a cost effective and quickly installed solution for carrying excess water away from flood prone areas. with a French Drain the water can be directed to areas in your garden that would benefit from the extra moisture, existing rain water systems, or it can be directed into a dry well.

A French drain is usually just a channel filled with gravel. It can be lined with a hard surface, such as pipe, to convey water even more quickly if the area requires it. An added benefit to using a french drain as the solution is that they never clog, so french drains are virtually maintenance free after installation.
